Played some online versus today.

My verdict is that it's not viable. I was playing against various players, including Leo, at 5/5 connection and still feel some spikes here and there.

Played one ranked matched and lost to a Soph who just kept using her L, M, M attack. Best part is that I can see it coming but I can't guard it or when I do managed to guard the L, I eat the MM cause the Guard unregistered. Forgot to see how good the connection was.

Hey I just played on PSN against Shen Yu (Farpenoodle)...I was using Astaroth while he was using Cass. Sorry for being scrubby.

Shen Rii is right..you can see things coming...but the connectino just can't register the commands in time.

We were at 5/5 connection too!

Hey Shen Yu, could you see my custom made green-skinned Astaroth?

Yup. :P I'll send you a friend invite.

Anyway, for players who rely on reflex to see things online is terrible. Like super bad. Lol. And don't even talked about Japan. Might as well set A and B to autofire. Lol. The best thing you can do is spam a 50/50 mixup. Doesn't even need to be a good one. I can 100% guarantee you can't block it on reaction. Lol.

Sorry mate...gotta log off. Couldn't find a 5/5 connection anyway.

Btw, what was that Cass grab you used that you could combo off? What are the coomands? looks like guaranteed damage after the grab.

66B+G 4BB:A

It's damn strong. 68 damage and rings out right.

Edit: Actually. While it does ring out right, it also rings out behind her. Lol.

Hey guys..

Anyway Rein, i strongly disagree with you. Having 5 bars is already very good. I play with 4 bars almost all the time online, and it is possible to guard moves properly.

I don't know how to explain it. Just visualise yourself inputting a set of advance instructions into a computer and letting it run it. It is possible to have decent good games with strong players if u get used to this system.

You can still get frame data to work, but u must not delay your inputs. Look at it this way. Imagine your opponent inputting a low command on his side. At the same time he inputs, you must also input your jump B or low G - real time. U can't rely on the screen, you have to rely on what u think your opponent will do next and your knowledge of frames. There are still visual and impact cues u can take to react properly.

So yeah my 2 cents

I actually think its an XBOX and PS3 issue. I got a friends who thinks that SC4 on live is better than vf5 on live. And vf5 on live is damn good lol

I just got my PS3 yesterday and tried the online game. so far so good .. only occasional lag .. other times 5/5 connection ... lost alot of rounds coz using dual shock controller. Tonight think will buy the hori joystick convertor for ps2 to ps3. i find the game frame rate abit slower. Can add me? my sony id: soramachi.

hehe

newbie in sc4 again !! hahah

Translated.

Anticipation -> Reflex.

And what kind of idiots are you playing on Xbox Live?
I can't find a single person who doesn't just Talim/Mitsu mash.
Every person below lvl 20 dies to me instantly.
Anyone above lvl 20 is either AA,BB-ing with Talim, 2KB-ng with Mitsu or 1AA-ing with Soph.

And Soph is damn broke now.. F**K.. Namco is dreaming.

Hey d00d...I played you last night!

I was the green-skinned Astaroth (as usual) vs your Cervy.

Nice fight that went down to the final round.

Is Cervy's BBB combo confirmed if the first hit is a counter? Either I'm getting a block command lag or I got hit with a counter.

I noticed that I hardly have any ring awareness....plenty of times I'm almost at full life and almost had the other guy beaten...and then BAM...get hit by one move and I'm outta the ring. I gotta go buck up on this aspect. Any ideas how is Asta's ring out capabilities?

Anyway, don't join a game less than a 4/5 connection! Even at 4/5, it's barely bearable! I think I even managed to play against some guy from HK...connection at 3/5....with some chinese font names! I think I spent more time staring at Shura's assets than actually playing.

Congrats d00d!! I just went through my wedding 2 months back. Ask me anything about planning of the wedding...I'll see if I can give some tips for that.

More importantly, you'll need a schedule of sorts on the wedding day itself....e.g. at what time, what is going to happen, and who should be in charge...and who should take care of it if it doesn't happen...etc

Good luck and hope you'll have a great memories of your wedding! I sure have great memories of mine! (Jedi robe + lightsaber FTW)

I'm missing out No console and no intention to get one soon. Bugis needs to illegally port one over on their arcades soon!!!! Remember how they really did shove a ps2 into the arcade cabinet for tekken tag? O_o
